Wow, we are back from Liverpool after a crazy weekend at the HUB festival. Located at the Wellington Dock in the Liverpool harbor, this festival had everything, huge graffiti walls, skateboarding, bmx, break dancing, big music stages and tons of local teenagers enjoying the free festival and the creative forces on display. A crazy big crowd of 11.000 people showed up during the day and the 10 crews from all over the UK and one all the way from Brussels were busy in the Write4Gold battle, all working hard on the walls. The surprising topic for the concept painting was: Who is Banksy.

7 great danish crews made it to Nykøbing Falster to battle for the Write4Gold Denmark 2009 title at Kulturfabrikken. Everybody had a nice day with the trademark danish summerweather, nice music and nice vibes. The local was the local skatehall of Nykøbing Falster and the surrounding area outside. The local crew had done a great job putting up walls and making everything ready for the battle.

its done: OctopusKangaroos577 from Copenhagen is the Winner of Write4Gold Denmark 2009! They placed closely same than the TOYS crew but made the pole position in the main catgegory at the end, first in Sketching and Throwups and second place in the Tag Competition today. The participating crews took the contest very serious, all 7 walls done in a fresh way. It was a very nice day with a little bit of scandinavian rain and good vibes.
