Artan was born in 1979 in Rome and start painting at the end of 1993. Introduced to the writing by Haero of the JVKrew from Avezzano, a little country in the east of Lazio. In Rome, after few collaborations with small groups, became part of the Tmh in 1996, one of the most important krews from the capital, with Kemh, Bol, Snoopy and Roy. Together take part, as host, to one of the most important Italian writing convention named Juice/(Ancona) In 1998 become member of the PUF crew of Brindisi, a group formed by Wany In the same year he participates again at the Juice/ of Rimini, Crem Caramel in Crema and other small jams round in Italy. In September 1998 he paints at the Rote Fabrik of Zurich for an international jam, with the presence of Daim and Mode2. From the 1999 he takes part in all the editions of Panico Totale in Pisa. Former member in 2000 of the KNM krew, a group from Toscany with members like Etnik, Fra32, Skivo, Krisa and Zed. This krew take part in all the editions of the HI-FIGHT (begin in the 2002), a national event made for the /Notte Bianca (the same of La NUITE BLANCHE of Paris). Connected for different years with the french scene, painting with HOCTES - BDB of Paris Inspiration for his work are the Germany scene (Kent, Cant two, ecc..), New York (old school), Bates, and the storical MT2 from Rome.
