We are glad and proud to see how the german Write4Gold competition has established in the past years as the major graffiti event. The enormous feedback throughout the international scene keeps us going a new way. So there with start of Write4Gold Germany 2006 with two big competitions for the german crews. 20 crews from all over germany have the possibility to participate and qualify to the european elimination to the world final at splash! The Write4Gold Germany West in Cologne and the Write4Gold Germany East in Halle on 29th july 2006!

Write4Gold Germany 2006 separated into 2 events! We decide after enourmos feedback because of the confirmation of the venue Cologne for Write4Gold Germany, after all to separate the german competition into two events. Write4Gold West Germany on 22nd july 2006 in Cologne and Write4Gold East Germany on 29th july 2006 in Halle/Salle. Winners of both competitions are qualified to the european elimination at splash on 4th august (last step before the worldwide final on 5th august).

During the two-day event BMX freestylers and Graffiti Writercrews will enter the location, very similar to the legendary "WallStreetMeeting" Location in 2001. Lot of space to paint, in or outside of the competition. Skateevents, BMX, Graffiti, Aftershow, we will present very soon the line up and more details.It seems to be a really nice event outthere.

Were sorry for the late news and confirmations because of the canceled plans of Write4Gold Ruegen (Birdflu). This both events are the final decision and the way we go this year Write4Gold in Germany! So lets get ready to battle...

Write4Gold Deutschland wird nicht wie planmäßig angedacht einmalig in 2006 durchgeführt, sondern nun doch in 2 Events, Ost und West geteilt. Das hat nichts mit Nostalgie oder Kopfmauern zu tun, desto mehr sind es geografische Gründe und das Feedback der Teilnehmer und Besucher. So wird es ein Write4Gold West am 22.Juli (wie bereits bekanntgegeben) in Köln geben und ein Write4Gold Ost (neu) in Halle/Saale am 29.Juli 2006. Die Location des Hallenser Events ist dem des legendären Schlachthofs Wiesbaden (WallStreetMeeting 2001) sehr ähnlich, sehr viel Platz, eine Menge Wände und viele Möglichkeiten Side Events zu integrieren. Wir freuen uns sehr auf diesen doch auch heimischen Event ganz in der Nähe des World-Final Schauplatzes, splash! 2006, am 4.August 2006, also eine Woche später.

The Winner of Write4Gold Germany East  is automatically qualified to one of the european elimination groups at splash! on 4th august.
