Interview Devision Crew (2nd place Write4Gold Slovakia)

what is your name and in which crew you paint for?

ZASE: My name is ZASE and I write for Devisione Crew.

how long do you paint?

ZASE: I write since 1996

what about the reactions from the graffiti scene to you about the second place at write4gold slovakia?

ZASE:  Some where surprised, some have been waiting on this to happen, and some wanted more.

what you think about the write4gold topic "ghost  rider"?

ZASE:  A lot of crews didn’t hold on to the topic itself, but created what they have been doing all the time. But this was a preset topic, not to be changed, it based on creativity. Ghost rider is something like a phantom, who has power to appear and disappear wherever he wants, he is a mystical entity. We have used a new style, with natural characteristic, but still tried to hold on to the topic.

you are pleased with the slovakian write4gold event and the employment of the jury was correct?

ZASE:  Yes, we have really enjoy this happening, it was the biggest one in the year, we had the opportunity to meet with other writers and crews from all of Slovakia. It has not ever been like this before. It was right for the jury to do his job.

what you think about the chance to win for  the dkh crew at the european final?

ZASE:  A lot of people do not have trust in the east of slovakia, but I know, there were many good writers ever since, who, to my disappointment do not paint anymore, but were greatest of their time. Their roots are strong, so shall be the fruit. I think, they’ve got chances, but the world has got a more developed scene after all those years.

how would you describe the slovakian scene in 2 sentences? how far is the graffiti scene developed?

ZASE:  Slovak graffiti scene is like a multibranched tree, although you can find here anything out of anything, on different places through-out the whole country.I do not like when people divide graffiti into „legal“ and „illegal“, Trencin (Trenchtown) was from ever since one of the best in Slovakia, and was developed very soon. A lot of writer did legals primarily, that’s why so many other writers from other cities judge our writers so often.

Many thanks to you, want to greet someone?

ZASE:  First time thanks to jah almighty 4 vibez & everything, nuff respect and big thanks to jury and the W4G organizators, because they hadn’t organized stuff, nothing would happen around.next to my crew nomad, desmoid, pista, bosh, krea and all writers on jam. BLESSED.
