What is your name and your crew?

OFK: My name is ozone and a paint for the OFK crew athens.

SFN: Nade,Karma and Sanka from the SFN Crew

SGB: Jsone from the SGB Crew

how you pleased the write4gold festival?

SGB: i think it was a good experience, and a chance to new writers come out stronger...but not just for festival events....greece needs more powerfull scene!

SFN: the festival’s organization was satisfactory and the whole atmosphere was splendid. It was a good chance to show the Greek level of graffiti in Europe.

OFK: It was great, we havent very many festivals like these. It was very beautiful to participate even if it werent completely enough to win the competition, it was cool!

since when your crew exists?

SGB: since 1991! now we are 4 active writers!

SFN: The SFN crew exists for about a year. For the last 5 years we all hang out and write together, every weekend (SFN-SGB)

OFK: We build the crew in 2000

how it works with registration for write4gold greece?

SGB: I believe the Carpe diem guys did a very good job. They accepted sketches and fotos and made up their mind about who would participate.I would say it works alright.

SFN: It worked very well.

Ozone, What you think about the decision?

OFK: We are a little bit disappointed, because the winners SFN dont converted the topic in characters, there was some kind of marvin characters, has nothing to do with the topic "code of the streets". But! The SFN Piece is very great and in every case a nice piece!

okay, and what do you think about the errorism and s-kids piece at the write4gold event? also crews from athens.

OFK:For S-Kids, i dont know in the beginning what they mean, i recognized that they want to be offtopic, but i think they know that in write4gold you get a topic to convert it, also the errorism. So i dont understand why they participate. To break the rules of these battle? It is a battle, everybody knows it before. Maybe they should think in advance if they wont to be a part of it. But basicly they all have fun and it was a nice action also for the guys of s-kids and also errorism, by the way, the errorism wall was very great!

was it simply to converted the topic "code of the streets"? 

SGB: yes,i think it was a interesting topic! me and Loue started with the characters first and then the styles come after with Live ....see the styles is the ""party time"" for the crew ! topic was good ,strong and nice to have a topic so closed to the whole culture!

SFN: It was quite easy. We used the same method of writing as we always do: Pick the subject and work as a team before we start painting.

OFK: We thought a short time that you mean "Crown of the streets", i dont know why, later we recognized the "code of the streets", so we make 10 sketches, and choose one of them, it was easy and funny!

is there a competition between athens and saloniki? Is there a different for the developement and quality level of the two graffiti scenes?

SGB:  yes, i think there is! I remember the first crews back in a days that in athens the point was to ''bombing" the city, but salonika come out more than just bomb!....we talkin about productions and good looking walls every week! and also the number of bombers ,for the destruction part! but ''Style is what matters in this town!"' and salonika writers have their own style,athens come out with french flavor and more new shit ,like also stencils n stickers!, not so much classic graffiti, and this is the difference ........of salonika and athens....  

SFN: Some people see it as a competition, but there is no reason for us to see it that way. Thessaloniki was always the city of style, when Athens was the bombing capital. (in salonica..style matters!)

OFK:Yes of course, but saloniki is a much more classic graffiti scene, here in athens there are something new, a lot of streetart and bombings, also in saloniki the mostly crews paint every week in a kind of meeting at the hall of fames, they paint much more big murals and pieces than athens writer scene. Here in athens we try to create something new, saloniki paint much more the classic graffiti style.

do you count with chances for the sfn to win at the european final?

SGB: SFN is a crew with many good writers! the good thing about the crew is that they can work like a good machine! all 4 one, and don't forget greece is a europian champion! hahahahahahahaha yes i believe to those guys ,i know them very well!YO Europe, beware, the greece come out!

OFK: Yes of course, generally we send a very good team of greece to the final, the have to focused much more on the topic there than they have a really good chance, we hope for the title!

SFN: We will try our best!

Is the write4gold title worth to you?

SFN: Yes, but there were equal defenders of the title.

what you think about the categories of write4gold? Is it good to have it in the competitition? is there anything to change for the next year for the rules of write4gold?

SGB:  the categories are very good idea to have in the competition!!! no changes for that!!a master crew must be good in every category!!!! thats fair!!hmmmm ...more crews ...maybe..it would be better!

SFN: its okay,these categories make the festival to a competition that shows the level of each crew in all the elements of graffiti.

OFK: The categories are very cool, I think for next year there should be more categories, and the emphasis should lie more on the concept painting, more than 60%.
