It was another hot day in ostia! Thanks so much to all the crews making this event such fresh! For the very first time we had 12 crews competed and for the first time we had to put 4 crews painting on wooden panels. Problems at the external walls because of very strange owners decision in last minute, but HipHop.it did a good job at the endm thanks doppio! The Results wasnt that easy to come this year, 2 crews was very placed very close to each other and that was the reason for the final battle between the VT Power and LDK, also that battle wasnt that clear to see who got more skills (5 minute battle: Style), at the end the decision of the Judge Can2 made LDK the winner of Write4Gold Italy 2008. But the major category was dominated by the KNZ Crew from Torino, also the Tagging category (5%) winner goes to KNZ. But the fact they dont point in Throwups and Sketching put them just on the final 3rd place, because VT and LDK get more points for their sketches (20%) and throwups(15%). At the end it was a tuff battle and much respect to crews like Aeroes, BNS, Fresh Shit or CSA who was very close too. See you next year and many thanks to the Spot Team Ostia!
I nostri ringraziamenti di tutto cuore vanno alle crew che hanno fatto di W4G 2008 un grande evento! Per la prima volta 12 crew invece delle solite 8, di cui 4 hanno pitturato su pannelli in legno, creando tutte dei pezzi fenomenali!
L'esito è stato in bilico fino alla fine, tanto che due crew sono state classificate prime ex aequo, rendendo necessaria una battle aggiuntiva tra VT Power ed LDK. E persino dopo questa battle (5 minuti con un pannello ed uno spray nero per comporre il tema "style") non era certo chi dovesse aggiudicarsi la vittoria! L'esito per acclamazione del pubblico portava adun nuovo pareggio, ed alla fine il capogiudice CAN2 (Mainz, Germania) ha deciso che a rappresentare l'Italia alle finali europee dovessero essere gli LDK da Napoli e Roma!
A sorpresa, la categoria principale (concept painting, con teme "carpe diem") è stata dominata dalla crew KNZ (Torino), e stesso per il tagging. Il fatto che però non abbiano fatto punti coi throe up e lo sketching ha fatto si che si classificassero solo terzi, poichè in queste categorie sia VT Power che LDK hanno spazzato via la concorrenza!
Alla fini fine è stata una battaglie davvero dura, e grande rispetto va a crew come Aeroes, BNS, Fresh Shit e CSA che si sono avvicinate molto alla vittoria.
